Wow, this is so painful to watch. I can’t imagine this being my reality as it is for millions. Thanks for opening our eyes.
I have never been physically raped. My heart aches for those who have experienced this terrible thing. I will say to add to this, tho’ that I have felt spiritually raped this last year at the church where my husband served as pastor. Four men in the church repeatedly spiritually raped my spirit and my heart. As when one is physically raped, I find it difficult to forgive and get past such wounding. I’ve been a Christian for over forty five years and have never experienced such horribleness. To go through it was bad….and to have the other Christians stand by and doing nothing to stop it, was worse.
